For some reason today...I feel purple. Purple is rich and very Royal, can also be very bright (now I am not saying I feel bright today...just reflecting on the color). When I picture purple it always seems to be a very soft, rich, thick and lustrous velvet.
A nice velvet only becomes softer if it is placed or sewn with the nape in the proper direction, but if it is sewn improperly with the nape the wrong direction it will be very rough and bumpy......kind of sounds like me....I like to think that most days I am soft and comfortable for others to be with....but I know in my heart some days I am rough and bumpy and not so pleasant to be around...lol.
Now today I again want it to be a soft comfortable day and I sure do hope Forrest finds me pleasant to be around...lol...since he is stuck with me...
Today I read probably some of the most comforting verses in the Bible...From John 10 and I especially love verses 27 through 30..."My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.28 I give them eternal life, and they will never die, and no one can steal them out of my hand.29 My Father gave my sheep to me. He is greater than all, and no person can steal my sheep out of my Father's hand. 30 The Father and I are one."
Oh the sweetness of His promises to us....Love you all...have a wonderful, Purple, soft comfortable day...:)
